s’Leopard chunt, ja, aber mit Verspätig: demals isch es bis Oktober 2007.
Ja was söll das sii? Eis isch aber sicher: de Version von MS-Imperialistischer “Windows”, die nach “Vista” folgt, isch immer nöd im Plan.
De Vista isch scho tot, de beförderte e chomplett neuer Computer. Das isch blöd. Aber für öis als Mac-Lüüt isch es nöd so blöd.
Aber mit e 4-Monat Verspätig… weisch, i de Schwiiz hän i immer noch Erinnerig: Gleis 9, Züri HB, und dä Uhrziiger… um puncht 17.07 Uhr fährt d’InterCity no Tessin… und es isch fascht immer pünktlich! Au im Jahr 2000!

Guet, sehr guet… de Shawn King isch e bitzeli erregt… de MacAddict umbenannt sich is neui Mac Life… Mac Life… Your Mac Life… “too close”….
“Shawn should suck it up.” Mir Europäischer MacianerInnen wissed, dass Europa scho zwei Mac Life-Ziitschrifte händ. Einer vo Ängland und d’andere vo Düütschland. De Shawn chönd zerscht dene zwei uusnähme…
Und no öppis… das isch tragisch, en Intra-Macianer Chonfrontation… mir sind alli Mac-User, mir händ alli e gliiche Ziel… und trotzdem mached mir zwisched eus immer Chonfrontation… das isch e Tragödie! Wäged Name… e Chonfrontation… Toleranz isch alli!
Mir MaciannerInnen sind zwar jetzt mit de iPod ganz stark, aber “Microsoft is still there”. Die kopiered und ripped-off wie nie. Gadgets/Dashboard, Searchlight/Spotlight… Bill & Ballmer… die sind noch da… und die chönned uns no uuseschiicke…
E Bitzli mehr zäme s’Gueti “sharen”… e Bitzli mehr Toleranz… Union… isch das so schwer?

Ich ha vor e nöd so lange Ziit es neui Uuto g’chauft, und es isch… es isch… ja, es isch e Mega-Monster. GPS, “leather heated seats” (das hilft aber sehr im Winter!), “bad-ass bass” (de Bass-System im alten Jeep isch sehr schlächt gsii), und de Faarbe…
Wäge d’Faarbe hän ich e lange Ziit e “konfrontativer Diskussion” gha; i wollte gärn es schwarz a la PowerBook G3. Mini Älterä hät gsaiit, “nei, das isch nöd guet, da seh’s uus wie ‘ne alte Maa”. Ich: “Tief-Blau, dark Indigo”…
Schlussresultat: es isch Titan gsii. Grau, “silber-grau” (uuf Peking-Akzent), aber für mir, es Mac-Freak: “Titanium supercomputer to go”. De Faarbe isch für mir nur eis: “Titan”.
Au bim Faarbe: “may the Mac be with you…”

Und plötzlich es Mac-Blog uf Schwiizerdütsch…
Ja natürlich! s’Mac hän i im Schwiiz z’erschte Mal g’seh, und zwar im 1991… es isch en Alte gsii… e Mac Classic mit System 6.0.7… also zwar nöd de Aqua vo jetzt, aber isch immerhin ganz e gueti System gsii…
Und danach wiiter mit de Mac im Inter-Community School, und de Herr D’Arcy, de Mac-Lehrer, de Inschpiration für mi… those were the days…
Ich bin au dabii… als MUS-Mitglied (das isch wahr), als Alt-Opfikon Eiwohner, als Schwiizer (by Pass)… und jetzt im Peking, s’Huuptstadt vo China. Und au als Mitglied im Mac-Community… in de Schwiiz, aber au im China…
Und jetzt… ja, s’Idee, e Mac-Blog uf Schwiizerdütsch z’mache, das hän i einmal im Truum ghaa… “what if I did a blog in Swiss German? I know that language… it’d be pretty cool…” Und nach es Domain-Registration und e chliises WordPress-Config isch es jetzt Realität…
Villicht nöd s’erschti Mac Blog uf Schwiizerdütsch… aber trotzdem…
